12.1 Generally. This chapter
provides guidance on purchasing scenarios involving other government entities,
including contracts that may be executed in compliance with the Interlocal
Cooperation Act.
12.2 Solicitation Requirements when
Contracting with Government.
A. Cooperative Purchasing Contracts. Whenever the City makes purchases together with another governmental entity, and the contract is entered in compliance with the solicitation procedures of that other entity, the City shall be deemed to have complied with City solicitation requirements.
B. Use of Government Contracts. Whenever the City contracts to make purchases under contractual terms previously negotiated by another governmental entity, the City shall be deemed to have complied with City solicitation requirements if the contractual terms negotiated by the other governmental entity were entered into in compliance with the solicitation procedures of that governmental entity.
12.3 Interlocal Cooperation
Act. Certain contracts may be executed in compliance with the Interlocal
Cooperation Act, Utah Code Title 11, Chapter 13.
