I. After all servicing operations are complete, verify that no one is exposed to danger from the start-up of equipment. Check to see that all tools have been removed, and the guards have been reinstalled.
II. Notify all affected employees of the ending of the lockout, and the impending start-up of the affected equipment.
III. Remove locks and tags.
IV. Start-up equipment, if necessary.
V. Notify affected employees that the servicing or maintenance is completed and the machine or equipment is ready for use.
