A. Information Needed by Council Staff
1. Council Member Simonsen
has expressed interest in attending the upcoming
Rail-Volution Conference.
The conference will be held in San Francisco, California from Monday, October 26
to Thursday, October 30. The conference will continue the discussion of
exploring possibilities for incorporating landscaping with public transportation
and other progressive livability strategies. Council Member Simonsen has
registered for the conference through the UTA sponsorship.
Would the Council consider paying for the travel costs for the conference?
Most Council Members were in support of
paying travel costs.
Council member Garrott was interested in
attending. Ms. Bruno said she would confirm the date of the RDA
retreat.
2. Attached is a tentative draft agenda for the Northwest Quadrant Community Plan – Fact Finding Meeting.
Would the Council please review and give Council staff your feedback?
